The undersigned Loxahatchee Groves resident would like The Loxahatchee Groves Water Control District to become a dependent District to the Incorporated Township of Loxahatchee Groves. The LG Water Control District is not fulfilling its responsibilities under enabling legislation. Neglecting the District to engage in construction projects that don't benefit LG landowners in general. Some road work done is on the roads these board members live on, these jobs seem to be expidited meanwhile other residents have to go to multiple meetings with these various boards and sometimes takes years, if they get action at all. Members of the Loxahatchee Groves Water Contol District have continually complained our roads and canals are dangerous and unsafe to the public, yet they are the very entity in charge of maintaining these roads and canals. Finally, Loxahatchee Groves Incorperated Township has had a trail system which has been poorly maintained by the District, and is mostly nonexistent and dangerous to ride and walk on. Although there are funds asside for these trails we can not get the Loxahatchee Groves Water Contol District board to act, cut and care for these trails which we are entitled to and will enhance our community.
