Stop Efforts to Undermine the U.S. Constitution by Those Who Claim to Defend the Constitution

One of the most disconcerting stated goals of the Repulican Party, since the Reagan Era, is their blind ambition to take over control of the White House, the House and Senate, and the Supreme Court.  This all consuming ambition would undermine the very foundation of the U.S. Constitution, and is largely responsible for the grid-lock in Washington, and the widely recognized "Worst Congress Ever".  One of the most important features of the U.S. Constitution is its provision for a system of checks and balances.  I would argue that this provision provides one of the most critical parts of the very foundation of our Constitution; and the very people/politicians who claim to be the "true defenders of the Constitution" are the same people/politicians who are working the most diligently to undermine it.
