We strongly object to the proposed development by Blue Cedar Homes for land off Woodway Road in Sibford Ferris (Ref LPR-A-139)
The Sibford community has serious concerns about over-development in
our rural villages and strongly object to the 5 sites being put
forward as part of the Cherwell Local Plan Review ( LPR-A-045,
LPR-A068, LPR-A-107 x2, LPR-A-139)
We have yet to see the real impact of The Gade Homes development for
25 homes on the Hook Norton Road, Sibford Ferris, which is due to
commence construction in 2022. The community is concerned in
particular about the deterioration of infrastructure, road traffic
safety issues, vehicle congestion, sewage and water capacity, noise, and pollution. We consider this will only be compounded further by the
proposed new development.
We ask our Councillors and MP's to say NO to Blue Cedar Homes and
other speculative developments being proposed in or around the small rural villages of Sibford Ferris, Sibford Gower and Burdrop.
