Please sign the petition and tell the WSF (Wild Sheep Foundation) that our farms and our wildlife are more important than their multi-million dollar Dall Sheep trophy hunt! The WSF wants to take away our right to keep and raise sheep and goats here in Alaska. They say that our farm animals might spread a pathogen (Movi) to the wild sheep and goat population, even though our animals are on farms and do not roam or graze in the wild as they do in the lower forty eight. Many Alaskans depend on our local farms for their livelihood and for food, especially when food shipments can't make it here because there are road closures due to avalanches, severe weather or other natural disasters! There is not enough science here to condone the culling of wild sheep or domestic sheep that have tested positive for the pathogen (Movi) when they are not even sick! It takes MORE than Movi to make an animal sick, and only sick animals can pass it on (not just a carrier!)
