I have been a sufferer of rosecea since 2010 which has resulted in me having to now live with a permanent red nose. Despite many different creams, gels and tablets for it, nothing has worked. It has resulted in me getting embarrassed to go outside due to the fact that I always get laughed at everywhere I go for my red nose and it gets me really down. I have spent so much money on makeup and face exfoliating creams to try and make my skin better but nothing has worked.
For all you other sufferers who can understand what it is like to have to live with it and be told by doctors that it cannot be cured and only helped with creams, which does not help at all,i am sure it gets you all down aswell as me.
I sit and tell myself, why should people get breast enlargement on the NHS just because they want bigger breasts due to feeling I secure, but we have to live with a condition much worse everyday that not only affects appearance but also other symptoms such as lumps that pus and soreness that feels like burning. How is this right.
I feel the NHS should start providing laser surgery treatment on the NHS and doing something to help people with roseacea as it is such a common condition with not enough treatment that helps.
