The sport of Bowling was in the Olympic Games back in the 1980's then they removed it. I heard that it was going to be in the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo, Japan but then it was cut. I have started this petition to get it back into the Olympics. I was part of my high school bowling team, and when I saw it wasn't getting promoted a whole lot and with determination and hard work I was able to get bowling announced in the sporting events for my school's morning announcements, I was also able to get spirit wear for the players, I got professional sports photographers to come and take pictures of the bowlers during matches, I was able to get the Superintendent, the high school principal, and the athletic director from my school district to come to the matches, I was able to get my high school radio station WMSS 91.1 FM to broadcast a match, and the biggest accomplishment that I was able to do was when the team won the bowling league for two years in a row and I was able to get the school board to put a banner up in the high school gym. Over my four years being on my high schools bowling team I have conquered many amazing things. After I graduated from high school I thought what else can I conquer with bowling and just this past summer I had the idea of starting a petition to get bowling into the Olympic Games. I am doing a paper version of this as well. I started the petition a about two weeks ago and so far I have gotten a total of 104 signatures and counting. When I am finished with the petition I will forward the United States Olympics Council.
