Investigation of Dismissal of David Hawkins, Activities Director of Fort Sanders Senior Center

It has come to the attention of a number of members of the Senior Center that Jane Howes, Director, has relieved David Hawkins of his duties and responsibilities. If you feel that this action should be investigated and a clear and concise reason for this dismissal be thoroughly explained to all members, would you please sign and date below?
The authors of this petition believe that this is an unjust action for the following reasons:
1. From the beginning of David's tenure, he has improved the Center's overall attitude by initiating activities that have increased member participation, proven that he truly cares about the members in ways that make each person feel special and wanted, he interacts with all members and checks on them if they are absent, goes the 'extra mile' in areas that are not included in his job description; such as, maintenance, working outside of his normal hours to ensure that everything runs smoothly, if he has to tell someone 'no', it is done in a manner to explain without offending and has truly changed and improved the Center for the best. David, as you know, is a natural born 'people person' with strong leadership abilities.
