Oppose the prohibition of duplex on R2 zoned properties in Epping NSW, 2121
The Parramatta Council intends to prohibit the development of duplex on R2 zoned properties situated in Epping, NSW 2121 as part of the Land Use Planning Harmonisation Plan.
We oppose this due to: 1) Inadequate community consultation 2) Inadequate State Government consultation 3) The Land Use Planning Harmonisation is unfair and inconsistently applied 4) Dual occupancy should be managed through design control, not outright prohibition. 5) Prohibition will reduce the property value properties significantly. 6) Dual occupancy provides affordable housing
