In 2009 I had $7500.00 worth of Cascade Windows installed in my entire house. I purchased Cascade windows through Front Range Windows and Doors. The windows have a lifetime warranty for labor and materials. The windows developed strange spots on them. (Please see photo.) I learned that the spots were between the insulated glass because the window seals were defective.
I filed a claim with Cascade Windows 8/1/2017. Cascade Windows immediately started putting me through the ringer telling me they needed closing documents on the house, tax statements, a copy of the deed, the original work order, receipts, along with telling me to measure all the windows, room description, tell them if they are movable or fixed, and which side of each window is effected. They state in their email that I had to do this so they could get the windows changed in one trip. The warranty states that they will investigate the problem. After many, many phone calls and still being put through the ringer, Cascade Windows said that I had to hire someone to do the glass replacement and that they would ship all the windows to them. They are trying to make me sign a waiver stating that I agree to pay for the installation. I refuse. Front Range Windows and Doors is the place where I bought the windows. They refuse to lift a finger to help in this situation and say that I have to go through the manufacturer. Please tell Cascade Windows and Front Range Windows and Doors that they have to honor the warranty and pay for installation plus materials to replace the defective windows. Thank you!
