Hello,I am Zeiad Kawy, I am a student from the Academy of American Studies. I am doing a senior thesis project and it is about my community. Many people according to a survey I conducted do not know about what is going on in China to the Uighur Muslims. Many of the news that is released throughout the media is considered fake and many people don't believe what they read. People need to be educated and they need to know about the international crisis that is going on in China. Millions of Muslims die everyday and we don't see a change start to happen nor do we see the issue on the news. I want to create a change by collecting many signatures as possible and emailing the commissioner of the media. If you can take time out of your day and sign this petition to help get justice for these innocent Muslim.
My solution is, I want people to fight the issue of misattribution because many people believe the media, however they should check their bias in every source. Also, they should check if there is any wrong information.
The increase of fake news causes problems like what is going on in China because the media is hiding from us many important issues. When I conducted a survey of 60 people, 95% stated that they dont know aboutr what is going on in china and I believe it is a time for a change because people should know what is going on. This is a mass genocide that people should try and stop becuase that is inhuman.
