Stop Slaughter Of Downed Animals

A law has been passed preventing the slaughter of downed cows.  Can't a law be passed preventing the slaughter of all downed animals?  A downed animal is an animal that can't stand up.  Downed animals are usually thrown in a trash pile or, slaughtered for human food.  Downed animals are more often slaughtered for human food.  

 Slaughtering downed animals for food is very cruel.  If I were a farmer and I had a downed animal, I would try my best to help it back to health.  Wouldn't you?  If the answer is yes or no, either way, please sign this petition.  Many lives depend on it.
