End the stress test

The mortgage stress test implemented is causing a negative effect on the economy. Mortgages are a contract. There is no viable reason to qualify for a contract you’re not actually applying for. The real estate market has taken a hit. Too many potential buyers just can’t qualify. Sellers can’t sell. Values have dropped. Builders aren’t encouraged to invest in a market they can’t make a profit on. Jobs are being lost and there is a domino effect.
