Support for Motorsport Facility in Custer County, Nebraska

This is a petition for anyone living in Custer County Nebraska.

The Sandhills Motorsport Park will host 4 events.  The first being a Muddrag event hosted by Custer County Muddraggers.  This event will take place the first day of the fair (Sargent Chokecherry Festival) on June 7th, 2009.  This is the 3rd year of this Muddrag event and it has been the most attended event of the fair.  The muddrags have already been held in locations within City of Sargent... we are simply giving the Muddraggers a more secure, contained and better groomed facility to allow higher safety standards and better viewing for the spectators.  The other 3 events will be ATV and Motorcycle races hosted by the Heartland MX Club.  These events will bring the series competitors to Sargent.  This club's competitors are primarily children ranging in age from 4 to 15.  So with these competitors will come their parents with pick-ups, trailers and RV's... all needing fuel, food, & beverage.  Their travel will demand stops at fuel stations, restaurants, and motels in Custer County. 
Schedule Proposed:

• June 6th, 2009- Track Test & Tune Day which will consist of participating club officers and member to "pre-run" facility courses and groom tracks for club competition.
• June 7th, 2009 - ChokeCherry Jamboree in Sargent, NE "Custer Mud Drag" Event
• June 20th & 21st - 2 Day Heartland Motocross Event... ATV Classes on Saturday - Motorcycle Classes on Sunday.
• July 5th - Heartland MX Club Event ATV's & Motorcycles (Same Day)
• Sept. 27th & 28th - Heartland MX Club Finale Weekend; ATV Saturday- Motorcycles Sunday

* Schedule Subject to Change due to weather, club date conflicts, etc.
* MX Schools and clinics will also be scheduled but will never exceed 6 participants.
