WHAT: There are too many people purchasing Explosives/Fireworks and using them irresponsibly and illegally. Many people are setting these explosives/fireworks off in the middle of the night or throughout the day causing car alarms to go off, frightening adults, children and animals with the unexpected loud noise these explosives make.
DANGERS: Often times the sparks from these explosives/fireworks catch on to flammable materials that cause fires and possibly unintentionally harming the user or those within close distance of the user. I believe the people who purchase these explosives should be held accountable for any damages or harm to others. These explosives/fireworks should be displayed in a safe manner and only during specific times of the year such as Independence Day or New Year's Eve. They should not be used continuously throughout the year just for fun at someone else's expense.
SOLUTION: The purchaser of these explosives/fireworks should have to purchase a license from the State in which they live to display these explosives. In order to stop illegal fireworks/explosives from being purchased the purchaser should be forced to purchase by license only, this could eliminate random purchasers, such as teens or irresponsible adults.
