Coopers Plains Cemetary/ Management must go

We, family and plot owners of Coopers Plains Cemetary located on Meads Creek Road, Painted Post N.Y. are calling for the immediate resignation of Dann Carr, Cemetary sexton. In addition we are calling for immediate resignation of Angela Carr,Byron Paris and all board members. Dan Carr with knowledge and direction of said board has destroyed the grounds by killing the grass around all headstones with pesticide. There was never any posting of the pesticide application and it is questionable that Mr. Carr has a license to do this. There is concern of health risks and possible drinking water of this area. An expert In stone has contacted us to inform us that pesticides will deteriorate our very expensive stones. Dan Carr has also directed his employees to remove precious and some pricey momentos from loved ones grave site. Many of these momentos have been broken and smashed and left in a pile by the mausoleum. Due to unethical and very disrespectful care given to our loved ones sacred ground and final resting place we demand immediate resignation of Dan Carr, Angela Carr, Byron Paris and all board members. We the family and plot owners have been informed that if this Cemetary is abandoned the Town Of Erwin will take over its care. The following signatures support these requests and actions.
