Support the building of a No-Kill Animal Shelter in Pittsylvania County, Virginia

To all AWLOPC Members & Volunteers, and all Animal Lovers

On June 4th, 2013, we were voted down by the Planning Comisson of Pittsylvania County for our request to rezone the property we have under contract at 11060 Franklin Turnpike in Dry Fork, VA to aquire a "Special Use Permit" so we can build the Animal Shelter for our Community.  There were only 3 pleople that signed up to speak against the Shelter. Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding about the speaker to represent the AWLOPC nor did we realize we had to sign up to speak in support of the shelter at the hearing as we had about 15 supporters present.  Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to address the concerns of the the few citizens or the Planning Commision. 

However, we have a second chance to get this right on Tuesday, June 18, 2013!!

You do not have to live in Pittsyvania County to support the Shelter and sign this petition.  You can live in the city of Danville or the surrounding area or have a vested interest in the Community!
