DEC Cease and desist in rounding up Canada Geese to kill in Schenectady County

On Monday early in the morning June 22,2015 a team of Agents from Wildlife Services herded three families of geese and their babies into a fenced area and then into yellow plastic crates. I asked if the birds were being relocated and was told they were being brought to a processing plant, their meat used to feed the hungry. I then asked at whose order and was to the FAA and Stratton Air force base. I have Contacted a local food bank and they have never received ,at any time meat from geese.A few years ago an organization called Save the Geese worked closely with our county airport and were successful in avoiding a mass murder of these birds, at a local park. I like to think we are a highly evolved race and surely could think of other solutions rather than killing these defenseless birds. We have, after all ,invaded their airspace.
