Petition to Disband Downtown Association Levy and Repeal By-Law 76-419

If you do not find any value in your mandated tax levy paid to the Sault Downtown Association, please complete the petition to have By- Law 76-419 repealed which will disband the associationso we may no longer be mandated to pay this additional tax levy.THank you for your

Over the past 10 years we have paid over 1.7 million dollars into the Downtown Association. Aproximately 80%  of that total is spent on administration alone. We do not find enough value if any to continue to pay this additional tax levy. If you believe that you do not receive enough value for your mandated additional levy, or that you feel you could use or spend this money more wisely for your business/ building, please complete the petition to Repeal Bylaw- 76-419. This in turn with enough votes will disband the association and you will no longer have to pay these additional levy amounts.
