save the British pub and stop the rise in business rates

I'm just a middle aged British woman who cherishes the tradition of the great British pub, an institution unique to the UK. We're told that the business rates for pubs will soon rise to between 100 and 500%. This will inevitably lead to their rapid decline and disappearance. Please put pressure on the government to rethink this legislation
