On December 2, 2021 Coach Charles Brown was accused of using profane language with the varsity players. Since this accusation, he has been removed of his title as the varsity boys basketball coach for the remainder of the season. A representative from the district office has stated that this is to protect the students from coach brown. The students of the school can testify that coach brown is in no hindering their education nor extracurricular activities. He has proven over the years his loyalty to the school through his service to the basketball teams and as the DECA club advisor. He has also been a personal confidant for many students over the years and is a trusted member of the student community. those who support this petition are advocating for Coach Charles Brown to be reinstated as the Head coach of the varsity basketball boys for the remainder of the 2021 2022 basketball season. He is a valuable member of our school community, and it would be an extreme loss to let him go.
