OUR COMMUNITY DOESN'T FEEL SAFE.
The residents of Yavne'el have voiced their disapproval of the presence of "outside workers" from near or far. Most of the community demands a safe and secure environment and schools where outside workers are viewed with suspicion. The municipality employs outside workers as cleaners in the community, at Jewish schools, and at children's parks, which has caused a growing concern among parents. The residents fear that if a nationalist event occurs in our community by an outside worker or any staff employed here, the officials will be held accountable. We urge officials to address this issue immediately, particularly before election day. Additionally, we express our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the tragic events in the South, including Bari and Otef Azah on 07.10. The massacre in Bari has raised alarms for all of us.
There are plenty of local workers who can do these jobs. Please hire workers from inside our community so we can feel safe again.
