Vox reported that Trump plans to roll back Obama's birth control mandate. This would mean that companies could easily choose not to cover birth control as part of their employees' health care.
A change like this would be devastating to women and families all across the country and we cannot let it happen.
When women have the choice of when and how many children to have, all of society benefits. If Trump does this, many companies will choose not cover birth control for moral or religious reasons. But this doesn't make any sense.
Because if a company was truly "pro-life" they would want to distribute free or low-cost birth control to prevent unwanted pregnancies that need to be terminated or children born to unprepared or unwilling parents.
So actually giving companies this choice would just be about huge companies saving a buck and disadvantaging women at large.
