Iran: Unblock the internet!

The internet was blocked in Iran on Saturday 16th November, when people in different cities poured into the streets to protest against the rise of petrol prices. Different sources of news, report various, and disturbing, number of killed, injured and arrested people. There are reports of excessive use of force to crush the protesters by the government.

We demand the violence against people to stop immediately. We demand the immediate unblocking of internet. We demand the free nations in the world, and their governments, to support the people of Iran and force the government of Iran to respect the human right and the freedom of peaceful assembly and freedom of speech by legal measures.
