We want Metal Detectors in our Middle and High Schools

The community of Johnson County, Kentucky wants metal detectors placed at every entrance of Johnson County Middle School and Johnson Central High School to help ensure that weapons do not enter the schools. Following the recent Florida school shooting, the stabbing that occurred at our high school November 10, 2017 as well as the quadruple murder that occurred in our community on February 10, 2018, we can no longer think that a school shooting cannot potentially happen in our schools. Please take all of the names on this petition as our community's cry to ensure better safety for our children by installing metal detectors.
