The Right to Work laws were enacted here in Florida in 1943! And adopted to the states constitution in 1968. At Will laws were adopted also. They have absolutely no value in today's society in Florida. The workers do not benefit at all from the right to Work state law or At Will, it is only for the benefit of the corporations by keeping pay low and for companies to terminate any employee without any reason at all. As Americans We all have the right to work, that is a simple common sense answer! When this law was enacted Florida was a totally different place to live and work. There is now a huge middle aged working population that suffers from unfair treatment in the workplace and no protection at all from being terminated for any reason at all! The legislators of this state should be ashamed by their lack of proper representation of the hard working people of this state if they don't address this issue immediately and abolish these archaic laws.
