Protect Your Freedom of Speech

A Tecumseh High School sophomore, Adam Kemerer, was suspended from school because of comments he made about the school. The school had recently suspended three other students for riding a dirt bike as part of a senior prank and Adam took to Twitter to speak his opinion on the events that occurred. Adam suggested that someone should write on the walls of the school buildings bathroom, and express their support of the suspended students in an attempt to poke fun at a local event that was receiving a considerable amount of attention.
Although Adam never threatened to do this himself, nor did any student actually do such acts depicted in the students tweet, he was promptly suspended for "threatening" the school. Adam should have his suspension revoked and an apology should be issued to him by the school district. The incident should also be removed for his record, as to not effect any future endeavors.Suggesting that an act should be committed, and threatening to actually commit to an act are two very different things, and since no threat was actually made, Adam's comments should be included in the establishment of Free Speech in the First Amendment of the Constitution. Please help this student fight back against his unreasonable punishment for speaking his mind.
