American Zoos Please Stop Breeding Lions and Tigers Together

Please stop mating lions and tigers with each other. Ligers and tigons are beautiful, but they are often too large for the mother to have naturally. Many of these animals die shortly after birth. If they do survive, they are sterile. We need to focus on protecting tigers and lions as individual species.
