Pledge to End Discrimination and Bullying of People with Disabilities in Schools

By signing this petition, I pledge to take the responsibility of having the awareness of people with disabilities and the hardships they endure.  I promise to treat them as equals and see them for more than their disability. If they are my peers, I promise to include them as I would anyone else and extend them a helping hand when needed.  If they are my student or I am their guardian, I promise to actively encourage them to be outgoing with other students and explain to other students that a disability is just another aspect of what make a person unique. I will actively attempt to end any bullying or discrimination that I see. Students with disabilites deserve the same opportunities and treatment as every other student.
