I am a Junior living in Skip's Hall. Over the spring break, an item was stolen from me. Even though the item was inexpensive, I was angry because I had just bought it and I never expected anybody to just take what's not theirs. Another friend of mine who also lives in Skip's expressed the same sentiment. I've also heard numerous stories in which items were stolen from other students as well. THIS NEEDS TO STOP. I've heard many say "I should have known better than to leave my item there". NO. We are in COLLEGE. We are ADULTS. WE SHOULD KNOW BETTER NOT TO TAKE WHAT'S NOT OURS. If this is our so called home, then we shouldn't have to be worrying about other students stealing our stuff. We can't let it slide anymore. I am willing to stand up and demand that this issue be dealt with. I'm asking you to please join me. If you or anyone you know has had an item stolen on campus (even if it was small) kindly sign the petition. Change begins now.
