FACTS:
1. TCA conducted elections for available Executive committee and Trustee position(s) on January 13, 2018 @ the Annual Sankranthi event.
2. Raghu Kanithi was nominated per the regulations with him clearly stating that his father was a life member. His nomination as reviewed and validated by the Election commission, which is the sole authority in this process and was subsequently democratically elected. He was announced as the winner along with the other winner at the same event by the Election Commission.

3. The Trustees (including the outgoing one) based on complaints (which were never made public) disqualified Raghu's candidature and brought in the candidate with the next majority vote which is unprecedented:
4. There is precedence for election of a family member of life member who went on to fulfill his two year term while working with two of the current Trustees
5. Trustee did neither had the professional courtesy to give Raghu a chance to make his case nor they had the courtesy to inform Raghu prior to taking decision. They haven't contacted Raghu directly till date despite numerous efforts from him and his father.

6. As per the bylaws out going Trustee's term ends after the elections. Any decision must be taken by the new bench of Trustees, which has not been the case and all communication from the Trustees included the outgoing Trustee.

7. Even after 25% of the general body members signed the online petition (as per State of Texas Business organization code for non-profit organizations, subchapter 5, sec 22.156), the Trustees refuse to respect the call of its members and convene a General Body Meeting, citing technicalities in the bylaws that suit their narrative, or to resolve the issues amicably by giving Raghu a chance to make his case.
ACTION
A new petition with revised agenda is hereby being put forth for Amendment of TCA's constitution, as outlined the bylaws, in the
General Body Meeting.
By signing this petition
1. You are hereby affirming that the decision made by the trustees is unilateral and unconstitutional. Trustees autocratic decision and behavior is at odds with TCA's core values. There is an absolute need for Transparency and accountability from the decision makers and sadly their handling of matters over the last few years has been found wanting.
2. You are approving in revoking TCA memberships of the current Trustees namely, Mr. Maruthi Reddy, Mrs. Shanta Susarla, Mr. Ravi Tamarisa whose continued actions are against the interests of the organization. They humiliated and victimized Raghu Kanithi by deliberately disqualifying him without the basic courtesy of discussing with him.
3. You are demanding the call for a General Body Meeting with the following agenda:
a. To revoke the membership of the current Trustees named above for acting against the objectives of TCA
b. To elect two new trustees
c. To amend the bylaws and address concerns and issues including, but not limited to, membership categories, Trustee responsibilities, Election procedure, accountability and financial transparency
4. You are demanding an independent auditor to audit the finances of TCA for the past five years.
Thank you for your support to the Democracy and the young generation.
