Tell Congress to extend the expanded child tax credits

The expanded child tax credit that passed as part of the American Rescue Plan in March 2021 was a lifeline for millions of children. It helped families pay for food, clothing, housing, and other basic needs.

But Congress allowed the expanded child tax credit to lapse, and as many as ten million children may fall back into poverty if they don't act quickly.

As Quakers, we seek a world where everyone's potential can be fulfilled. That world cannot exist with millions of children living in poverty. Add your name to demand Congress extend the expanded child tax credit.
