Child care is one of the biggest costs in a family's monthly budget — often more expensive than housing, college tuition, transportation, or food, according to Child Care Aware of America's 2015 Parents and the High Cost of Child Care report. Not to mention, families all across the country know how hard it is to find affordable child care that's also high-quality.
When quality child care can fit a family's budget, children are able to develop, explore, and get ready for school. And their parents are able to focus on work or their education, with the peace of mind of knowing that their children are in a healthy, caring environment.
