Tell President-elect Trump: Make reducing addiction a priority in your administration!

In communities across America, addiction to dangerous opioids like Percocet and Vicodin is a crisis, and it’s only getting worse.

Only 1 in 10 people who currently need treatment for addiction is actually getting it. Hundreds of mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers are dying of overdoses every single day. Families and communities are being shattered.

President-elect Trump promised to stand up for these families during the campaign. Now, it’s time for him to take action.

Please stand up and tell President-elect Trump to make addiction a priority during his first 100 days in office. We can’t wait any longer.

During the campaign, the President-elect laid out his plans to fight addiction, and they include ideas we know will work.

For example, he wants to expand access to Naloxone, a medication that can reverse an opioid overdose. And he wants to cut the treatment gap so that far more Americans have access to the lifesaving care they need.

These are critical ideas -- but they can’t just be talk. They need to become reality.
