Animals used in entertainment are often sentenced to a life of sadness, neglect and abuse. This is especially the case for animals used in various circuses. Exotic animals such as elephants seem to receive the most punishment in order for them to perform demeaning stunts that are anything but natural. As of late there is a stream of former employees reporting the heinous acts that go on behind the scenes of the most popular circuses. The perpetrators of these animal acts have continually been reported to authorities and fined for their brutal practices, but continue to make money from this trade. Please join us by trying to put an end to shows where animals are used in an inhumane manner. We would like to start by banning these shows in New York's capital district.
