Orkambi is a life changing, life saving drug. I have been on the drug 3 years and its completely transformed my life. Orkambi was refused here in Ireland due to the submitted cost. England was also refused funding due to cost. Vertex your drug has changed my life and it has the potential to change many many lives but you need to reduce the price NOW. I travelled over to Washington to the FDA advisory meeting in May 2015 and as I said in my testimony, so many patients with CF are just waiting, hanging on to the hope that is Orkambi.
