But our Home Office rejected her request to stay in the UK, risking sending her back into the hands of her torturers. Even worse, this wasn’t an isolated incident.
Our shocking research shows that people who have survived torture are repeatedly being denied safety in the UK despite having valid asylum claims. These are people who have endured worse things than we dare to imagine.
