Stop the Volusia County Council from putting a homeless shelter on the site of Hurst Elementary School

The Volusia County Council is considering rezoning the former Hurst Elementary School to allow a homeless shelter to be built on the site. This would allow an unknown number of homeless people to be introduced into a residential community without any additional protection from the county government.
By signing this petition you are stating that you are against a homeless shelter being constructed in a residential neighborhood and are demanding that the Volusia County Council follow the recommendation of the Zoning Board and deny the rezoning of Hurst Elementary School.
