Stop Cutting Eagle Habitat Levee-Supporting Trees

1. WILL NOT assure Fed Assistance during or after flooding of Beardstown, NOR FOR ANY CITY IN THE U.S.
2. DESTROYS Eagle HABITAT American Bald Eagle and Golden Eagle.
3. Levee certification WILL SKYROCKET FLOOD INSURANCE RATES.
4. Last weeks' unnecessary tree amputations HARMED Beardstown Marina's development plans. Those trees were next to Corps-dumped silt trap remains and the river won't even touch them.
5. Corps ignored own 2011 study that refutes tree cutting at levee toe. THERE IS NO MONEY TO DO THIS!
6. TREES slated for further decapitations HOLD THE LEVEE TOGETHER.
7. WHOLE U.S. LEVEE SYSTEM they deem at risk.
