9/11 Families Deserve Answers About Phone Hacking Scandal

Reporters from media mogul Rupert Murdoch's News of the World are facing accusations of phone hacking, including those of a 13-year-old murder victim and 9/11 victims.

Now a group of Americans who lost loved ones on 9/11 are asking for an investigation into the scandal, and they deserve answers.

Murdoch's vast media empire doesn't end at British borders, and until the full truth is known neither should the investigation. Murdoch's media conglomerate News Corporation has its hand in numerous American media sources, from Fox News to the Wall Street Journal.

Americans deserve to know if their privacy has been violated. And victims of the tragic 9/11 attacks deserve to know if they've been exploited in the name of sensationalist journalism.
