Stop Selling Public Lands for Fracking

Though most of the country has shut down to keep Americans safe from the coronavirus, oil and gas companies are still trying to steal our public lands for fracking. With the climate crisis worsening by the day, it's time for the Interior Department and Bureau of Land Management to end their fossil fuel giveaways.

We are demanding these agencies stop selling public lands to oil and gas companies.

The evidence is clear. We must leave fossil fuels in the ground, substantially reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and chart a new clean energy future if we have any chance of avoiding the most catastrophic impacts of climate change.

With its vast tracts of public lands, the American West is suffering the consequences of out of control fossil fuel production. Fracking is fouling our air, despoiling sacred landscapes, and pushing wildlife to the brink of extinction.
