Don't let Houston turn into ZOOuston !

What's wrong with Houston, TX. today?  Looks like everyday some wacko nut job decides to abduct, kill, rape, car jack,rob banks, and vandalize property.  Our beloved Houston seems more like ZOOuston!  We need to let Mayor Bill White know that our citizens need to feel protected in a time when there is enough to be worried about during the tough times we are facing.  As the economy has headed south,we are seeing more and more crime happening in our neighborhoods as well as places that are unfamiliar with criminal activity other than the usual drunk driver.  We need to become more aware of our surroundings and look out for those less fortunate.  Even the homeless are being targeted!  WTF!  Please give your opinion and/or advice on how people can help protect themselves against becoming victims.  I myself have gotten smart and recently acquired my gun license.  I%u2019m locked and loaded!  I look forward to taking down any animal that messes with the zoo keeper!
