Down With Battery Farms!

Recently there has been much talk about organic foods and chemical foods. People have always seen organic as the healthy, though expensive, option and that's because it's true; there are no chemicals on organically grown foods.
However, in the current economic climate, people are trying to spend less and the government is actually encouraging foods grown with the aid of chemicals, which means that not only are people putting less money into a falling economy but that more chemical farming is being promoted. This means more pesticides and other dangerous substances are washing into the oceans.
This is not the worse part, however, as Delia Smith, a 'top' chef, is actually promoting the eating of battery farmed chickens. According to her poor people can only afford battery hens to eat and so we should all buy them instead! This is so outrageous, we cannot promote such dreadful suffering and torture over prices! Surely! Don't allow people to believe for one second that the chickens don't matter as much as their bank balance.
For vegans and vegetarians this would be a tragedy, and I'm sure that many meat eaters will find this awful too, so please sign and silence that tiny voice trying to put a good light on battery farming. Trying and failing...
The results of this petition will be sent off to four major parties of the government and to the BBC. Hopefully, the petition will have gained enough signatures to persuade them that this is not acceptable, that people won't stand for it, and to change their interests from money saving to moral ideals. Thank you.
