Rapist & Killer Released - Look for him at playground

We request Stephen Harper, the Prime Minister of Canada, to intervene and overrule the National Parole Board in their decision to release a Calgary man, Harold David Smeltzer, convicted in 1981 of murdering a 5-year-old girl and raping several women.  He was granted day parole Wednesday, November 5, 2008 as his young victim's family wept. 

In spite of these horrendous crimes he will serve the time at a halfway house in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.  Beware to the women and children of Regina!

Smeltzer has also admitted terrorizing the city of Calgary between 1975 and 1980.  He has gone on record claiming responsibility for sexually assaulting 40 victims in a south Calgary neighborhood during the mid- to late-1970s, according to National Parole Board documents.
