MAN MADE GLOBAL WARMING A LIE!

We the undersigned,

would like brave, sensible, clear thinking individuals in Congress to STAND UP.
Man made Global Warming is a fallacy.  The global temperature has been steadily falling for the past 11 years yet belief in the myth has been growing ever stronger.  Before Al Gore burst on the scene, climate change use to be called weather.  In the 1970's, both Time magazine and Newsweek ran articles in their publications predicting a coming "Ice Age."  Their collected data showed that the climate had been slowly cooling since 1945.  In 1977, however, the trend reversed and data showed temperature beginning to increase.  In the mid 1980's the British government was trying to overcome public opposition to nuclear energy.  The government began offering grants to scientists and commisioned them to find a link between fossil fuels and global warming.  Scientific organizations exist on grants, and in order to be successful they tend to discover what they are being paid to find.  This was not unbiased research.  Recently the BBC admitted that for the past 11 years the global mean temperature has been steadily declining even though man-made carbon dioxide, the gas thought to be responsible for warming our planet, has continued to rise.  A notable professor from washington recently conducted a study that proved that the ocean is responsible in large part for regulating the earths temperature.  He noted that the ocean has positive and negative cycles that usually last twenty to thirty years causing temperatures to rise during the positive cycles and fall during the negative cycles.  Scientists have also admitted that the sun plays a large part in the earths temperature as well.  We can look back at british temperature records from 1645 to 1710 in order to see the role solar activity plays in climate change.  Temperature records show a noticable decrease in temperature.  At the same time astronomers noted a marked decrease in solar activity.  That period of time is known as the "maunder minimum."  During that period of time, the sun was more dormant for a longer period of time than at any other time in recorded history.  Now between 1710 and 1745 the global temperature increased by an astonishing 4 degrees celcius.  This is clearly before the industrial revolution and the introduction of manmade carbon emissions.  For most of the 1990's sunspots and solar activity set records that had previously been standing since those records began being kept.  Solar radiation was responsible for satellite damage and communication blackouts in 2000, 2001, and 2005 befor solar activity began to subside.  Since early 2008 the sun has been practically dormant, and in August 2008 there were no sunspots at all.  Since that time, solar activity has been almost non-existent.  In 2009 alone there have been numerous areas of the country that have shattered records for early snowfall.  Clearly the sun plays a huge role in our climate here on earth.  New studies show that the warming to be expected from the doubling of carbon dioxide output between now and 150 years from now is going to be one sixth of previous U.N. climate panel estimates.  This current global warming scare is having catastrophic effects as it is leading to legislation that ultimately harms people.  The United Nations has already admitted that the ethanol crisis has caused the doubling of staple cereal prices in one year.  As a result millions are starving as we are using our precious farmland for fuel instead of food.  History teaches us that nothing in this world ever just stays the same.  Please stop this INSANITY now.  No human being likes to admit it, but there are some things that are just beyond our control.  At this current time we cannot stop the cycles of the sun, and passing meaningless legislation will do nothing to affect climate change and will ultimately only harm the United Sates of America and the entire human race.  We urge you, members of Congress, to stand up and speak out against this atrocity.  We are convinced that there are many members of Congress who already don't believe the myth but are afraid to stand up for fear of being called a flat earther.  Stand so that others may see your bravery and stand also.  Thank you for taking the time to review this petition as we are confident that you will do your part to end this deception.
