Term Limits for Congress

Like the President, Congressional members should have term limits (2-3 terms). This would help to reduce corporate influence and reduce the amount of time and money spent on re-election. It would help to keep Congressional members working for their constituents as opposed to working for the perks and for re-election funding. It would help to keep them on task and moving things through the system much quicker.(so we do not repeatedly end up with fiscal cliff situations, filibustering for days on end, etc.) Because Congress will never bring this idea to a vote on their own, it is something that must be prompted and pushed by the people. Stand up and say something for Congressional term limits!
