Pay rise for childcare jobs

I have been working with the child care industry for 5 years and am apuled as to how much practionors like myself are being payed. I feel that minimum wage is not enough and does not weight out the amount of work and hours we do including the way we are treated eg no sick pay I feel as though the pay needs to evaluated and the care of staff needs to be improved as I feel like we do more than some jobs for exemplar a office worker who is petentionaly at their desk all day we’re as we are having to deal with looking after children in the first stages of their lives and having to be accountable for every Accdent and issusue with their care and development . I also feel as though staff are over worked and are having to do more than is their job title eg cleaning .I feel compainies are profiting way more than staff are payed and are made to work like slaves. I find that we have no support and are constantly put under pressure with paper work and are not paid enough.
