Defend Our Health care Against This Frivolous Lawsuit!

It's another unprecedented attack on health care for millions of Americans. This one could prove to be the most toxic.

President Trump's anti health care allies have banded together in a lawsuit that could tear down the Affordable Care Act and strip Americans of pre-existing condition protections. And unlike in the past where the Justice Department would normally safeguard federal law, the Trump Administration refuses to defend it.

This heinous lawsuit is disguised as one that protects people with pre-existing medical conditions.

Yes, the bill would continue to prohibit insurers from denying people coverage or charging them higher premiums based on their medical history but it's protection in name only.

Insurance companies would still be allowed to refuse to cover services related to a person's pre-existing conditions. If successful, 130 million people with pre-existing conditions will be at risk in the event they need to purchase their own coverage.

President Trump has already done significant damage to health care. Under his administration, we've seen an increase in the number of uninsured and raising costs for consumers because of his refusal to enforce the ACA and continuous efforts to sabotage the law.
