A Father's Quest to Bring Back Gabriana Mancha

My Mission
Gabriana is my little princess.  In my life she has been a very modest, warm hearted and highly considerate little girl with a great imagination, a love for animals and a love for God. It is amazing what children represent in our lives. It is love in every form we had a very close and happy connection.  She trusted me and counted on me whenever she needed me.  I never let her down until her mother took her away.  I am an American father who is working hard to bring my little girl home.

Abducted in 2006
My daughter was abducted in December 2006 and taken to her mother's home in Singapore, a few weeks before Christmas.  Her mother had been destroying my daughter emotionally, lying to her, and making her believe that I didn't love her anymore.  I caught my daughter completely crushed a few times and seriously depressed as her mother was trying to brainwash her.  I tried to do everything to protect her but her mother was relentless in tearing us apart.  To this date, her mother continues to deny my little girl her loving father and continues to lie to the court system and all of those who are concerned over my little girl.

My Efforts
After realizing what happened, everything in my life stopped and my heart was broken and still remains broken but with my faith in God and knowing His love exists, I didn't fall, I didn't give in.  I immediately began efforts to get in touch with her but her mother made it a point to prevent my daughter from having any contact with me and went into hiding in Singapore.  He mother still continues to deny my daughter a loving father. 

Legal Issues
Singapore is not a party of the Hague Convention but I am hoping the court system there is aware of what is truly going on and uphold the spirit of this treaty that is designed to save kids from highly abusive and careless parents. I have legal representation in Singapore but all of my legal efforts have been so far been frustrated.  Both the U.S. and SIngapore courts aren't really designed to handle these kind of cases even if the Hague Treaty sets guidelines.  It is frustrating to say the least but my efforts continue.
 
The Problem
Child abduction is a very serious form of child abuse as I have learned and it needs to be prevented.  Any government that sustains child abduction is aiding in the ability of parents to get away with such crimes.  There is no justification for why a child can be removed from their paternal parents who have dedicated and endless love.  Kidnaping by terrorist or parents is still kidnapping and it is still cruel.

My daughter like other kids have been removed from a family environment. From the places they grew up in and have fond memories from, from their friends, pets, teachers and everything that was their world.  They are forced to not only deal with not seeing a loving parent anymore but may be subjected to lies and manipulation by the abducting parent.  The abducting parent does not seem concerned with the emotional stress and damage that is being done to the child.  Children are here to love and to remove a loving and caring parent from a child is nothing less than cruel to a child.  My little girl went from warm, happy and carefree to depressed, anxious and scared.  just imagine what she must be going through!

My Hope
My hope is that my little girl will see he loving father, her loving relatives and friends.  That she can continue to go to school with her best friends and that she can again be carefree and happy and have her heart filled with love and joy.

My Plea
I am hoping that those of you who read this realize how cruel child abduction is and how unnatural it is for both the parent and the child to deal with such an ordeal.  I pray that you can talk about it and help make this problem more of a for front because aren't children important?  This shouldn't be a hidden plague in human culture.  Please, send this email to others and I believe in hope.
