Command and Conquer: Renegade free code
We are petitioning to gain access to the Command and Conquer source code. It has been 7 years at least since it came out, and many diehard fans would like to recode Renegade. It may even bring people back to Command and Conquer. I mean, it is not likely that if someone made a great fix of Renegade, that it would beat the new Medal of Honor: 2010, or even C&C4? No. But these fans who still play (about 200-300 strong) would like to improve the gameplay and make it more fun, so that you might say, Command and Conquer: Renegade can have a peaceful death.
We the undersigned are asking you to help us in our request for the open-sourcing of Command and Conquer: Renegade, a 7 year old game which is dying, and before it does, we are asking EA to open source it, (make the code available to everyone) so that Renegade cna have its final moment of glory before it dies for good.
