Asking For More Funding Towards Local Animal Shelters
An ideal animal shelter can be a true haven for lost, injured, abused, and unwanted animals. In this petition I am asking for more funding of our state money to be put aside to fund these animal safe havens. With adequate funding, the animals can be cared for properly by a large staff with quality food, toys, and shelter for the animal. Unfortunately, most of the shelters we know of today can't afford to give these scard and homeless animals the lives they deserve. The truth is many animals are simply euthanize d because of lack of supplies for adequate care. Please join me in asking our two US Congressmen to pass more bills that support the funding of our local animal shelters.
We the undersigned have read the statistics on local animal shelters and are urging you to put forth the motion it takes to provide more funding for animal shelters. They can be a safe haven for lost, injured, or just homeless animals but they need the funds to provide adequate care. If we put away more US dollars to provide animal shelters with more supplies and help, we could stop many euthanasia of many innocent animals, while decreasing the number of animals roaming the streets. Please take attention to this matter as it means so much to all who have signed. I thank you very much for your time in reading this letter.
